#MONSTER DASH# on Oct 24th

The Monster Dash is a PTA sponsored event where we set up Fall inspired obstacles throughout the fields of Pinewood (it starts by the Kindergarten playground). Some examples of these obstacles are climbing over hay bales and crawling under caution tape that is made to look like a spider web.

The event starts right after school at 3:45. Because the obstacle course can’t handle all of the kids at one time, we break up the kids into different heat times that start every 2-3 minutes. Each heat time holds 20 kids.

Volunteers Needed for American Education Week

We are looking for volunteers to help with the arrival of our American Education Week visitors, 8:30-9:30 on 11/18-11/22. Help is needed to set up and hand out name tags. Please sign-up at SignUpGenius.

Pinewood celebrates Purple Friday Spirit Day

Every Friday throughout the NFL football season.

Pinewood students and staff are encouraged to wear spirit wear on Fridays such as Pinewood school colors of green and white, Blue Ribbon School of Excellence blue, favorite team colors such as Baltimore Raven's Purple, or any other color that shows their pride, passion, and spirit for something of their choosing!
